5. Can KEEPVA FitScan be used by multiple users?
Yes. KEEPVA FitScan is designed for the whole family. It can automatically recognise each user based on their individual body data. The scale stores data locally, while the Fitdays Health app supports up to 24 user profiles, allowing everyone to track their health trends privately and independently.
6. How accurate is KEEPVA FitScan?
Its consistency is up to 98%, comparable to medical-grade DEXA scans, the gold standard for body composition analysis.
7. What is the difference between KEEPVA FitScan’s 8 electrodes and a standard 4-electrode scale?
Entry-level smart scales typically have sensors only on the platform. The electrical current travels from one foot through the lower body and back through the other foot. This mainly measures the lower body, while mathematical algorithms are used to estimate upper-body composition.
KEEPVA FitScan features sensors in both the scale platform and the handheld bar. The current passes through both the upper and lower body, covering the arms, legs and torso. By measuring five different body segments separately, FitScan provides more detailed data on visceral fat and muscle distribution. Research shows that its results have a significantly higher correlation with hospital-grade DEXA scans, reaching up to 98%.
8. Is KEEPVA FitScan compatible with Apple Health and other fitness apps?
Our app can sync data with major health platforms, including Apple Health, Samsung Health and Fitbit. Once the scale is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, your measurements will appear in the app and can then sync with your connected third-party health apps.
9. Why does the scale have a handle?
The handle is essential for 8-electrode measurement. By holding the handle, a complete measurement circuit is formed through your body, allowing the scale to measure your arms and torso directly rather than simply estimating them from lower-body data.
Unlike many standard scales, the FitScan handle also features a colour display, allowing you to view your segmental results comfortably without having to look down or check your phone.

Take Action Against Muscle Loss Before It Starts
As we age, our bodies naturally lose muscle mass while storing more fat in certain stubborn areas. Stop wondering whether it is simply “ageing”. The KEEPVA FitScan analyses the arms, legs and trunk separately and shows you exactly which areas to focus on. This helps you target the areas that need work and preserve muscle mass, which is essential for maintaining an active metabolism.
Key metrics:
- Left-to-right arm muscle balance: Spot imbalances early enough to help prevent injuries.
- Leg muscle quality: Maintain your strength to stay mobile over the long term.
- Subcutaneous fat mass: Track stubborn fat just beneath the skin.
- Skeletal muscle percentage: Help maintain an efficient, active metabolism.
Keep an Eye on Your Metabolic Age
You may be 45 — but what is your metabolic age?
Visceral fat — the hidden fat around your internal organs — often tends to increase gradually in your 40s and 50s and can contribute to inflammatory processes in the body. Track this metric each week to monitor how it changes over time and better understand your body composition.
Key metrics:
- Metabolic age (body age): Compare the state of your internal health with your actual age.
- Visceral fat level: Identify dangerous hidden fat around your vital organs.
- Basal metabolic rate (BMR): Find out exactly how many calories your body burns at rest.
Recover Faster.
Stay Active Longer.
Feeling stiff or tired? Low hydration or an unbalanced diet can sometimes contribute, rather than simply “getting older”. Track your bone mass and your total body water to support joint health and check that your body has the protein reserves it needs to recover after active days.
- Bone mass: Track the mineral status of your bones so you can act early if there are signs of structural loss.
- Protein percentage: Check that your body has the nutrients it needs to support tissue repair after training.
- Total body water (%): Maintain optimal hydration to support joint lubrication and your energy levels.
